​We offer :-

• flexible start dates i.e., any day - apart from school holidays, start holiday anytime

• small party discounts (available for parties 4 people or less (includes children/babies) - excludes school holiday periods). n.b. the discount is possible for a small party because our turnover costs are less based on the small party; therefore, requesting all rooms to be made up does not constitute a small party.

• Long / Short breaks available  - minimum 1 night pricing, also 2,3,4, 5, 6 nights all available - (*except for school holiday bank holidays - No short breaks available during this period unless part of a special offer. 

• New Year rental minimum rental 5 days

 

Unfortunately:-​

• No single-sex groups.  

• Dinner/family party groups by prior agreement

• Sorry no pets

• Strictly no over occupancy - see below

 
Booking process
The easiest way to find out availability or book is to email us with your dates, and we will respond with availability and pricing.    Following confirmation of availability, please send a cheque or complete a bank transfer (UK or overseas).  This way it keeps the cost down for you, i.e., no booking fee for UK accounts and minimal for international.  

Process - Booking Online Option

• The availability tool will provide dates available and pricing.  If you wish to proceed, please complete the booking form online and submit.  No payment is taken at this stage.  We will send you confirmation that dates are available and reserved, with bank details to transfer either a deposit or full payment.  Please note an additional house security deposit of £150 is required, which will be refunded to you in line with our T&C.  We will indicate this on the information confirming the reservation, bank details, and price.​

Process - Cheque Option

• Contact us to confirm price and availability. Print off the booking form below, review the T&C,  sign and return the front page only with a deposit cheque (1/3rd total amount if more than 6 weeks to your stay.  If less than 6 weeks, please send the full amount with the booking form along with your house damage deposit.  Send to the postal address is at the top of the front page of the booking form.  Please do not send to the cottage address.  Or, ​

Process - Bank Transfer Option​

• Send a signed, scanned copy of the booking form via email and make a bank transfer.  If you are transferring from abroad, please ensure you instruct the bank to pay charges at your end; otherwise, insufficient funds are transferred, requiring further payments.  If unsure, contact us. 

• We can accept payments in Euros bank-to-bank, thus saving fees.

• A Housekeeping & Damage Deposit can be transferred shortly before occupancy and will be refunded subject to T&C within one week following departure.

 

Credit Card​

• Currently, we are unable to accept credit cards as the volume of transactions makes this mechanism uneconomic.  Most guests opt for a bank transfer or a cheque.  If you prefer a credit card, then contact us. There is a channel that accepts but charges fees.

Other transfer options are available, but these options attract additional transaction charges.   We also take payments in euros and US dollars, which avoids charges.  Contact us for more info.
