Kingshoath Cottage is a Grade ll listed 16th
Century semi-detached cottage lying in a country road just outside the village
of Beckley. The property has a large lawned fully enclosed and private garden to
the rear ideal for families and children. The sandy beach at Camber Sands is
only 15 minutes away, the ancient town of Battle, Rye and Tenterden are all
within 15 miles. Children will like the steam train, which can be taken from the
village to either Bodium Castle or Tenterden. For something different, pick up
the train to Paris from Ashford or, a light aircraft from Lydd to Le Touquet for
the day or take car and Euro shuttle to access Brugge, the Venice of the north
(not as far as one might think). For a traditional country Free House, The Rose
and Crown is just 700 yards away and serves good home cooked food.

Access
- Kingshoath is a spacious cottage with ample accommodation however,
it is a property with its orgins in the 16th century. Consequently,
some door heights are lower than todays standards (mainly door
into blue bedroom). Additionally, there is a difference in ground
foor levels with one 8" step between levels and, a step into
the downstairs bathroom.
- To the first floor are some steppish stairs although they have
a solid handrail. All this adds to the chracter of the property
but clients should be aware if access and mobility is an issue
for them. If in doubt, please call us and we will provide more
detailed information.
- Internet Access. Some guess need to stay in touch even when
travelling. The cottage does not have a permanent internet connection.
Temporary access to internet can be obtained via pubs in the local
area i.e. The Station, in Northiam.

General
- Off road parking for 3 cars.
- Sorry no dogs or smokers, Hen or Stag parties, it's just not
that sort of place !
It is a place to go to relax and enjoy either time reading
a book, your family socialising, getting together with friends,
sightseeing, a family gathering, the garden, acess to walking
and the local beaches etc.
N.B We work extremely hard to maintain the cottage to a
high standard and comfortably comply and receive our tourist
board 4* grading. Albeit, the cottage has its roots firmly in
the 16th century country side. Consequently the house is not
like modern houses. Some room and door heights are lower, an
occasional a friendly cobweb can appear overnight, there maybe
even dust in hard to reach places if you try to find it.
- If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call us to
discuss - 020 8300 1348 we will try to help you.
